QBO DARK MODE – Privacy Policy

QBO DARK MODE is a Chrome extension published by OSM Solutions that applies a dark color theme to QuickBooks Online. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your information.

Information we collect

None. QBO DARK MODE does not collect, read, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information, financial data, QuickBooks content, browsing history or usage analytics.

What the extension stores

The extension saves only your display preferences (dark mode on/off, darkness level, contrast level, and whether previews stay light) using Chrome’s built-in storage. If you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome syncs these preferences across your own browsers. This data stays within your Google account’s Chrome sync and is never sent to OSM Solutions or any third party.

Website access

The extension runs only on QuickBooks Online pages, and only to change how those pages look on your screen using CSS. It does not read page content and makes no network requests.

Third parties

The extension contains no ads, trackers, analytics or remote code, and shares no data with anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same link with a new date.
